Since the company’s inception in 2001, Solution Property Group has acquired or developed almost 3,500,000 SF totaling over $140 million in investments of industrial and office real estate.
Mal is Founder and Managing Partner of Solution Property Group. Mal has completed over $800 mm of transactions in all facets of industrial and suburban office real estate investments. Solution Property Group specializes in value-add renovation and re-development in the logistics sector in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida. Investment activity has included opportunistic, value-add and development strategies in industrial, suburban office and industrial land development in metropolitan markets as well as port markets.
Prior to Solution Property Group, Mr. Hill spent over 10 years with Duke Realty and NAI Brannen Goddard in various capacities including development, landlord and tenant brokerage, as well as asset management. Mr. Hill is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics. He is an active member of the ACBR, and interests include Aviation, Sailing and Boating.
Laine is Managing Director of Solution Property Group. His most recent experience was serving as Chief Investment Officer of Novare Group, Inc. At Novare, Mr. Kenan focused on capital raising, finance and asset management of over $1.5 billion of SkyHouse high-rise apartment developments. Prior to joining Novare, he was Executive Director and Head of North America Real Estate for Arcapita Inc., which encompassed $6 billion of property investments. Prior to joining Arcapita in 2001, Mr. Kenan spent 14 years at the investment banking firm of Robinson-Humphrey where he focused on equity capital raising and mergers & acquisitions in the real estate and consumer sectors. He was also a member of the Executive Committee overseeing Arcapita’s global property holdings. He is a past Board Member and Chairman of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE), a past Board Member of the Real Estate Roundtable, and has been an active member of NAIOP and NAREIT.
Mr. Kenan is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Leonard W. Wood Center for Real Estate Studies at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Mr. Kenan received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Nathan began his career with Kajima construction Services as a project engineer after he graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in construction management. After Kajima, Nathan joined RACO construction as construction Manager overseeing their industrial construction activities.
After RACO, Nathan joined Duke Realty as a pre-construction manager and was promoted to project manager where he oversaw a large number of office and industrial developments. General contractors for duke primarily interfaced with Nathan on construction issues. After Duke Realty, Nathan joined Solution Property Group as Senior Development Manager. Nathan has overseen over 9 million feet of office, industrial, manufacturing and distribution space. he is experienced in all aspects of managing contractor services for pricing, design, bidding and procurement.
